The Child Care and Development Fund helps low-income families obtain child care so they can work, attend training or continue their education. CCDF’s purpose is to provide low-income families with the financial resources to locate and afford quality child care as well as increase the availability of these programs.
To qualify for the Child Care and Development Fund, applicants must meet certain non-financial and financial requirements. Non-financial requirements include state residency, working or going to school, citizenship of the child receiving CCDF assistance and choosing a CCDF-eligible provider. Financial criteria include gross monthly income limits.
