If you submitted a certification application, reciprocity application, audit paperwork, or criminal conviction paperwork to the IDHS Emergency Medical Services division then you may contact IDHS EMS staff if 1) 30 days have passed since you submitted your inquiry and 2) you have not seen an update to your certification or audit in your Public Safety Personnel Portal (https://acadisportal.in.gov/AcadisViewer/Login.aspx) (also referred to as Acadis).
Applications for certification or reciprocity or audit paperwork submitted to IDHS EMS will be processed within 7-10 business days from the date it was received. IDHS EMS staff will contact you and request additional information for any missing requirements. Monitor your Public Safety Personnel Portal account; your account will update once the application is complete or the audit is cleared.
