The second executive order that Governor Daniels signed after being inaugurated on January 10, 2005 created the Office of Management Budget. OMB brought several existing state agencies under one umbrella, including the State Budget Agency, Department of Revenue, and Department of Local Government Finance. Other entities overseen and coordinated through OMB are the Indiana Finance Authority, Public Employees Retirement Fund, Teachers Retirement Fund, and State Board of Accounts. In addition a new division called Government Efficiency and Financial Planning was created as a part of OMB. http.www.in.gov/omb
