In order to become a "registered" mediator, an individual must attend a 40 hour class developed consistent with rules set forth by the Indiana Supreme Court. Upon completion of training, an individual may ask to be "registered" with the Indiana Supreme Court. A mediator is required to attend continuing education in order to maintain their registration with the state. All of the mediators in the Shared Neutrals Program, whether registered or not, have completed the training and must complete continuing education.
