The Governor's Long Term Employee Recognition Program, in existence since 1983, recognizes state employees with 35 years of service with the State of Indiana. In 2005, the governor and State Personnel Department realized that there were a number of employees with state service exceeding 35 years. Therefore, the state began to recognize employees with 35, 40, 45, 50, 55 and 60 years of service. So you will need another 15 years of service in order to receive official recognition.
