During the intake process the Intake Advocacy Specialist will need to obtain information about you and the problem you are experiencing, as well as other supporting information. If the request can be met by offering information or referral to other agencies, the Intake Advocacy Specialist will provide assistance. If the contact concerns a potential case, the Intake Advocacy Specialist will present the request for assistance to our Case Selection Committee. The Case Selection Committee will determine eligibility for services and what action should be taken. If accepted, the case will be assigned to an Advocacy Specialist who will be in contact with you. If not accepted, the Intake Advocacy Specialist will attempt to provide information regarding the issue and, when appropriate, a referral.
