Secondhand smoke is a cancer-causing agent according to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. It contains over 4,000 chemicals, including 250 toxins and 50 components that cause cancer. In the U.S.over 50,000 people die from exposure to secondhand smoke. In Indianaeach year 1,020 to 1,820 Hoosiers die from others' smoking, such as exposure to secondhand smoke or smoking during pregnancy.
