You do not have to quarantine if ALL of the following are true:
- You are fully vaccinated [it’s been two or more weeks since you got your second vaccination, or since you received the single dose Johnson & Johnson (Janssen) vaccine;
- You have had no symptoms since you were exposed.
If these are not true, or if you are a resident or employee in correctional or detention facility or homeless shelter, you should continue to follow current quarantine guidance.
If you are fully vaccinated and have been exposed, you should still get tested 5-7 days after your exposure, even if you don’t have symptoms. You should also wear a mask indoors in public for 14 days following exposure or until your test result is negative.
