Scientists do not have data on this right now but based upon the way mRNA vaccines (shots) work, they are unlikely to trigger a rejection of a transplant.  They recommend getting the vaccine (shot) if your condition is stable or prior to getting a transplant but be aware that there is little data on its use in this population, so discuss with your provider.
