You can check vaccination sites in nearby ZIP codes for open appointments, or you can keep checking back because new appointments are added often. You should get the second dose of the vaccine within 6 weeks (42 days) of the first dose. If more than 42 days have passed since your first dose, you should still get your second dose as soon as possible. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention do not recommend getting a third dose if you fall outside of this time frame. Please remember if you received the Johnson & Johnson vaccine (Janssen), it is only one dose and does not require a second appointment.
