People 16 and older are eligible to be vaccinated.
Anyone age 16 or 17 who registers for a COVID-19 vaccine must choose a site that offers the Pfizer vaccine. Vaccine types are labeled on the vaccine site map and indicated on the state’s registration site, too.
A parent or guardian must consent during a 16- or 17-year-old’s registration, and it’s best that the parent or guardian accompany the minor to the vaccination site. We understand this may not always be possible. In those cases, the parent or guardian can provide written or verbal authorization.
