First responders (fire, law enforcement, emergency medical services, reservists and volunteers) who have in-person contact with the public, coroners and funeral directors who have contact with infectious material, as well as licensed and unlicensed healthcare workers who have in-person contact with patients or infectious material in any healthcare setting are now eligible to schedule a vaccine (shot) appointment. They will get information about how to sign up directly from the Indiana Department of Health, their employer, a healthcare group or a professional licensing agency. They will need to have a work ID or other proof of their healthcare role to get a vaccine (shot). Other people will be able to sign up when more vaccine (shot) is available.
Indiana residents who are age 70 or older on the date of their first vaccination (shot) are now able to register. Check ourshot.in.gov to register or get more information.
