You should get the same kind of vaccine for both shots to be fully protected. Scientists aren’t sure if the vaccines (shots) will work as well if you get two different kinds, or if this is safe.  However, if two shots of different COVID-19 vaccines (shots) are accidentally given, you should not get a third shot at this time.
