Early clinical trials of the vaccine (shot) did not include children, so the vaccine (shot) is not available for children right now. This could change as the vaccine (shot) is being studied in children in additional trials. The Pfizer vaccine (shot) is only authorized for use in people 16 years of age and older. The Moderna vaccine (shot) is only authorized for use in people 18 years of age and older.
