First responders (fire, law enforcement, emergency medical services, reservists and volunteers) who have in-person contact with the public, coroners and funeral directors who have contact with infectious material, as well as licensed and unlicensed healthcare workers who have in-person contact with patients or infectious material in any healthcare setting are now eligible to schedule a vaccine (shot) appointment. They will get the sign-up link from the Indiana Department of Health, their employer, a healthcare group or a professional licensing agency. A work ID or other proof of their healthcare role is required. Sign-up will be open to others as more shots are available.
In addition, Indiana residents age 70 and older on the date of their first shot are now eligible. They will be asked for proof of identification and age at the vaccination (shot) site. Check ourshot.in.gov often to register or get more information.
