COVID-19 vaccines (shots) are safe if you have been sick with COVID-19 in the past 90 days. Since reinfection isn’t likely to happen in the 90 days after you’re sick with COVID-19, you can delay getting a shot until 90 days after your infection. You should not get a shot while sick or during the isolation period to avoid exposing others.
