The State of Indiana must be prepared for the same threats as other organizations. The State is scanned regularly for weaknesses in software and boundary devices. Spam, phishing, and malware are used in attacks on a daily basis. Denial of Service (DOS) and Distributed Denial of Service (DDOS) are not uncommon. The IN-ISAC Security Operations Center (SOC), is a proactive initiative designed to help combat the cybersecurity threats to the State of Indiana computer systems.
