The State Information Center is a division that is a part of the Department of Administration. You may find our information at the bottom of the www.in.gov website (in the footer of the page) as the contact. We are located at the bottom of the majority of the State websites in case the public is unable to locate vital contact information or general information about the specific agency. We are here to direct them to the correct location. We also are available for chat and emails.
The State Information Center (SIC) exists to provide a single point of entry into state government. SIC agents direct customers to the area or agency that provides the needed information, putting down the guesswork and providing the public with easier access to state government agencies.
Our job is to enable citizens to obtain the information he/she is seeking. SIC does not represent anyone specific agency, but approximately 100 agencies servicing the entire state of Indiana. Our goal is to provide each citizen with a professional and thorough resolution to their needs.
The State Information Center will help direct you to the correct agency either by providing you contact information, telephone, email address, directing you to the information on the agency website or by providing you general information regarding the subject.
