Only one bidder profile can be created for each Tax Identification Number (TIN). For example, multiple county offices (auditor, sheriff, county clerk, treasurer, etc.) more than likely share one Bidder ID number because they all have the same TIN.
If you receive the message “Invalid Tax Identification Number”, we recommend that you return to the Bidder Profile Registration web page and click the Registered Bidders List button to search again for an existing profile.
If an existing profile can't be found and you believe you entered a valid TIN, follow the instructions found in the Submit a Request for Assistance.
